Dixie Industrial Supply was founded by Henry and Emma Strippelhoff in 1956 as a small division of Carbide Products, Inc. that specialized in supplying its customers with top of the line service and products. Keeping the customer at the front of their mind is what eventually led to the development of the Dixie Pin after recognizing an industry need for top of the line hardened and ground pins.
