Refractory Metal
Refractory metals are non-ferrous metals such as tungsten, tantalum and molybdenum alloyed with other non-ferrous metals such as copper or silver. This combination produces relatively hard materials with superior arc and wear resistance, strong physical properties at elevated temperatures, and good electrical and thermal conductivity. CPI maintains close working relationships with several producers of special and standard refractory metals in dozens of grades to meet specific performance requirements.
