Silicon Carbide
Silicon carbide is a compound of silicon and carbon. It is a very hard ceramic traditionally used as an abrasive. It can be bonded together by sintering and is now widely used in applications requiring extremely high endurance. CPI maintains close working relationships with several producers of special and standard high quality silicon nitride material.
