Why CPI

Engineering Support,
Not Just Machine Time.

CPI operates as an engineering-focused manufacturing partner for aerospace and defense manufacturers, tiered suppliers, and precision component producers. We don't simply run parts — we collaborate directly with engineering, quality, and program management teams to improve manufacturability, extend tooling life, and ensure consistent performance in mission-critical applications.

With decades of experience producing precision carbide and wear components for demanding aerospace environments, we understand the importance of tight tolerances, material integrity, traceability, and process repeatability. Components must perform reliably under extreme conditions — tooling must hold precision through the full production run.

When tolerance can't be compromised and the supplier can't be wrong, our customers call CPI.

Tolerances & Precision

Holding Tight Tolerances Is What We Do.

For grinding and EDM work, we regularly hold ±.0002″ (5 micron). Our high-end milling and turning centers are dialed in to ±.0005″ (±0.012mm). Every dimension is documented. No exceptions.

Quality & Reliability

Inspection Is Built Into the Process — Not Added at the End.

Each department has its own optical comparators, Keyence inspection devices, gauge pins, and surface plates. Every job is inspected multiple times before final QC. Inspection data is serialized and stored on our server indefinitely. When a customer needs traceability, it's already there.
